Newscafé (also searched as News Cafe) is on the front line of Puerto Banús, facing the port, and it is open seven days a week all year. Doors open at 10:00 and it runs until 03:00 from Sunday to Thursday and until 04:00 on Friday and Saturday, so it works as a daytime spot that turns into a late-night one. The venue talks about huge headline DJs and international events, and it has its own drinks menu. Guides describe it as three floors with a VIP terrace over the port.

VIP Tables at Newscafé Banús

Newscafé takes table bookings, and the spot most people ask about is the VIP terrace over the port that guides mention. The venue does not publish a table price list in the sources we use, so we will not guess at a minimum spend. Message us on WhatsApp with the date, the number of people and a rough budget, and we check what is available for that night. On event nights with a headline DJ, it is worth asking a few days ahead.

How to Get to Newscafé Banús

For Newscafé, message us on WhatsApp for a table, the list or tickets to an event night. Tell us the date and how many of you there are. Because it opens every day, there is always a date to work with, including in winter. Remember the times: until 03:00 from Sunday to Thursday and until 04:00 on Friday and Saturday. It is right on the front line of the port, so you can walk there from anywhere in Banús. Bring photo ID.

Dress Code & Entry Requirements

Newscafé does not publish a dress code in the sources we use, so we will not make one up. As general advice for a night in Puerto Banús, smart-casual works: a shirt or clean polo, long trousers or tailored shorts and proper shoes, or anything you would wear to a good dinner. If you are staying on into the night or have a table on the terrace, dress for the evening rather than the beach.

From 10am to the early hours

Most Banús clubs only make sense after midnight. Newscafé is different because it opens at 10:00 and keeps going until 03:00 from Sunday to Thursday and until 04:00 on Friday and Saturday, seven days a week. That makes it useful in a way a pure nightclub is not: you can start with drinks on the port in the afternoon, stay for the evening and still be there when the DJs take over. It is on the front line of Puerto Banús, facing the boats, so it is also an easy meeting point before moving on. And it stays open all year. From October to May, when the summer clubs in Marbella are closed, Newscafé is one of the places in Banús where there is something going on every night. If you are not sure what is on during your dates, message us on WhatsApp and we will tell you.

Tables and the terrace over the port

Newscafé takes table bookings, and guides describe the venue as three floors with a VIP terrace looking over the port. That terrace is the obvious choice for a group that wants a base for the night with a view. The venue publishes a drinks menu, but we have not found a table price list we can stand behind, so we would rather not quote a minimum spend that turns out wrong. The way to do it is to message us on WhatsApp with the date, how many of you there are and a rough budget. We check what is available and come back with the options for that night. On event nights with a headline DJ, demand goes up, so it helps to ask a few days in advance. Everyone in the group should bring photo ID, and smart clothes make life easier if you are heading to the terrace at night.

Event nights and planning a Banús night

Newscafé describes its programme as huge headline DJs and international events. It does not name a single music genre in the sources we use, so the best way to know what a specific night sounds like is to ask us on WhatsApp and we will check the line-up for your date. Because it is on the front line of the port, it fits easily into a longer night in Banús. TIBU, on Plaza Antonio Banderas, is a few minutes away on foot and also opens all year, so the two combine well: an earlier start at Newscafé and a table at TIBU later, or the other way round. We can sort both in one conversation. Tell us the date, the size of the group and if you want tables, the list or tickets for an event night, and we will put the plan together with you.
